Industrial and Business Park Development

Mena's Industrial Park, consisting of 80 acres, was purchased in 1992 by the Mena/Polk County Chamber of Commerce Industrial Development Committee.  To date we have been able, with the cooperation of the City of Mena, to have in place water and sewer facilities along with two access roads to service existing and future developments there.  R &D Industries, which fabricates plastic parts for a variety of other uses, relocated there in 1996 from another location in Mena.  The recent creation of a Business Park within the Industrial Park will enhance the possibilities for development of the Park with businesses designed to service industrial development, such as electrical contractors.
